now there is a functional orthodox church - st. sava, two restaurants with wonderful localy grown food, bakery, gallery, souvenir shop, bank, swimming pool, jail, but also a fully functional cinema, called "underground" [after his famous movie] and of course it is underground. there are also several houndred of houses inthe town, some of them avilable for rent.

short portion is revitalized and used as tourist attraction. rest of the wood used for the railroad was used to built this town. just pay attention to details and there are so many of them. flower pots, public well, fences, waste baskets, urban furniture, billboards, public washroom. some very clever people are adding more houses to the town, taking good care not to disturb a beauty and the vistas of the area under protection of the UNESCO.
emir kusturica is the winner of the philippe rotthier european architecture award for this project. the prize is awarded every three years by the brussels foundation for architecture.
trg [square] is a main public space in the town and one of the best and most unusual squares I have visited anywhere.
