this plaza with very ambitious name, together with the whole area, was developed especially for the 1929 spanish-american exhibition. I didn't like this space. it is advertised as monumental - spectacular but it looks and feels more like a movie set, false, untruthful and surreal.
.................plaza de la espana, seville, spain, 2004
it is not surprising that this type of architecture is called moorish revival?
ps. I have recently find out that this plaza was a set for numerous movies, among others "star wars".
