Yerba Buena Gardens – Waterfall Plaza, San Francisco, CA, USA, 2013

This is the largest public space in Yerba Buena Gardens with attractive waterfall, The Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial located behind a waterfall and unavoidable stage for performances and world class Gardens Festival between May and October. It is in close proximity to The Moscone Convention Centre, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and numerous largest and most expensive hotels. Eventually this whole area is converted to the vibrant hub of activity from quite neglected space where main attraction was bowling alley.
This was actually little victory for the Central City neighbourhood. Bowling Alley was planned to be removed originally but after the locals joined together to fight for their rights it was re-included and eventually built.
