Sculpture garden is part of the latest MOMA redesign by architect Yoshio Tanaguchi, finished in 2004. It is actually keeping P. Johnson original design from 1953 intact but it is enlarged and closely integrated with surrounding old and new buildings. |

Numerous celebrated sculptures from the collection Picasso – [photo bellow right], Calder, Lachaise, Gacometti, Moore, Rodin, Maillol, Smith, Miro, Oldenburg... Sound of water, and breeze in the trees are really making this space remarkable quiet oases in downtown Manhattan.
