Zornića Kuća, Baćevac, Srbija, 2023[open in full screen]

  Previous

We are usually dealing with urban public space but in this case but we are making exception this time. The lodges and restaurant of the ethnic household "Zornića Kuća" are located in the village of Baćevac and spread over three and a half hectares of the idyllic Šumadija landscape, with an unusual view of Kosmaj on one side and the Lipovačke woods on the other. Baćevac is 3km from Barajevo and 35km from the center of Belgrade, Serbia.

Public space is in the middle of the complex and serves as a viewing area for the performances on the stage, resting and relaxing area with possible refreshments on the carpets spread around, or playground for the kids. Area, marked with the white outline on the map bellow, is public space we are talking about.

The restaurant is located in a hundred-year-old building.

Several spacious gardens for sitting in front and behind the house, or in the forest, and a covered wooden garden are themed with an accent on times gone by. There is also a domestic animals garden nearby. Plenty of artworks are spread all around.

Wonderful place to spend the whole day, or as in our case celebrate special birthday with the family.
