❖ Very quiet little square in the hearth of the Ericeira. Residential houses and a police station are placed here.
  Maybe that's the reason why officials moved from its original position to this square the "pelourinho" column.   Tradition is saying that it was used as symbol of justice, sometimes in the way of hanging people.
