Plaza Central, Boquete, Panama, 2014

Boquete is a very cozy mountain village in the shade of Volcán Barú in western Panama. The whole district has only 19,000 inhabitants. A quiet town, forever crowned by low-hung clouds and temperate climate. The area has recently become a destination for North American retirees who comprise approximately 20% of population.

This square/park and it's central position are a perfect relaxing oasis in the town.

Located around this square and the polished main street you can find plenty of hotels and hostels and practically all of the good restaurants in the town.
