Kraanplein, Zierikzee, Nederland, 2005

This square, natural extention of the Oude Haven [harbour] and serving as an welcoming entrance to the city, represent very well preserved athmosphere in this historic town. What do we have here?

Small park with few benches, little restaurant with patio but not fenced like in Canada, very restricted traffic, and unobstructed wievs to the old harbour.

It is serving as a starting point for tours with traditional sailing ships, shortly unforgetable public space.
