This little town in Toscana is a town with most of the towers preserved from the "golden days". Four of them are visible from this quiet square just around the corner from the basilica and the busiest main square of the city.
Square is as usual in Italy having one more name, Piazza Delle Erbe – Herbs Square, probably meaning that at some point market was here. The other square, Piazza Del Duomo, is very busy, specially in summer months when hordes of tourists are visiting [small photo bellow left].
This is making this really pleasant place even more precious with the opportunity to have a coffee or tea in peace and quiet.
