  Previous Plaza Mayor, Trinidad, Cuba

This Plaza Mayor is located just 12 km south of the city of Trinidad in the resort called Brisas Trinidad do Mar. Interestingly resort is planned around three public squares and they are connected with pedestrian streets.

  Quite different and huge improvement over numerous other resorts we visited all over Caribbean, all of them are looking like each other without any local character.   Few photos from the resort are illustrating this planning achievement. Most of the visual elements from the original plaza were incorporated in the design including the copy of the original cast iron benches!
