Plaza de San Francisco, Havana, Cuba, 2004

Bordering the port this square has an Andalusian character with the fountain "Fuente da los Leones" modeled on the famous fountain in the Alhambra in Granada. The most important building on the plaza is the basilica Menor de San Francisco de Asle, built in the 1580-1591.
Small photos bellow are from our revisit to this space in 2015. Few nice additions and visible extended revitalization of the whole city
