Trg Lodje - Piazza Della Loggia, Groznjan, Croatia, 2005

Groznjan [Grisignana] is other fantastic little town [785 inhabitants] in Istria only 12km from Motovun [previous square] and less than 20km from the Adriatic coast. After istria become part of Yugoslavia after second world war almost everybody left and for the long time most of the houses were abandoned, sometimes even with food left on tables!? History of this town goes back in 1102 and today it is preserved almost intact. Town is international cultural centre for young musicians and many concerts, courses and other events are held here every year.

This square is with "loggia" meeting place for the locals where they were traditionally discussing important issues.
