Plaza Central, Liberia, Costa Rica, 2010

Town of Liberia, otherwise known as "Ciudad Blanca" with its 35.000 people is quite big in comparison with other cities in Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. International airport close by, some of the main Pacific side resorts and Rincon de la Vieja vulcano nacional park few kilometars away, are making Liberia important tourist hub in the country. Plaza Central, with its modern church of Inglesia Imaculada Conception de Maria, is very typical for all Latino-American countries. Few buildings from colonial are still standing around plaza. Gazebo in the middle is taken by the vibrant group of local skaters, performing specially for us, best tricks they can think of.

Surprisingly large number of people is occupying all available benches in the park.

At the same time church was also full with people attending the evening prayer. Pleasant sound of the songs coming through the open doors is completing the early evening ambience.
