Previous Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto
This relatively recent urban development in the prime location of downtown Toronto was designed with the idea to bring new “energy” into an area that was becoming progressively worse. The intention was to create a space with the potential of fulfilling needs of pedestrians.
It was done with different events organized very often as well as building a parking garage underneath the entire square. All the surrounding buildings are "decorated" with enormous number of advertising screens and the result is a hybrid between real human energy and the energy of the cyber world.
We have more recent version of this square now in our collection, check it out, space is further reaching its goal towards cyber space.
Black and white version of this square was used for our art print .
