In the far end of the pedestrianized area of the old city of Antwerpen this small square with quite unusual features is located.

Basketball court in the large city downtown, surrounded with number of cafes and restaurants?

It is definitely very pleasant surprise. Atmosphere created by lot of activity is making this place quite exceptional.

This image was used in our Language of Urban Squares Art Print, with inscription: “The city has its own feelings, in the same way as a complex organism”. It is now part of Seneca College, Toronto, art collection.
