this urban space is an expansion of the alley in the queen west and richmond area of downtown toronto. the system of alleys and passage-ways goes for kilometers. notice the unintentional ironic significance of the street names to their content.

it is an open-air gallery for the screaming young graffiti artists jumping to the opportunity to express themselves and contribute to the urban art scene. the urban language used is loud and clear, but in order to interpret the messages we need a lot of patience and enthusiasm.
