this placa has four names? on the offical plan of the city it is called placeta de sant esteve, quite logical being just behind 12th century sant esteve church. but on the plaça itself there are three other names displayed, raco de mestre josep fontbernat, cal peret de la lluisa [both visible on a panorama above] and plassa del princep benlloch on the other side of the back entrance to the church [small photo right]. whatever the name is this very small space is always in the lovely shade and really quiet and pleasant.
.................placeta de sant esteve, andorra la vella, andorra, 2009
strangly enough plaçeta also accomodates in very close proximity to the church small restaurant with clearly revolutionary star symbol and the name "raco cuba" [red cuba!?].

but don't be fooled, small street is not closed for traffic, scooter, bycicles and pedestrian are aloud [no cars], and it is one of the main arteries of the old city andorra, connecting this area with the 15th century, still functioning, house of parlament.
