urban art, 2020, urban squares

When you find a book with the title “Walkable City Rules – 101 steps to making better places”, by Jeff Speck, you will think that this is a PERFECT mach for our website, that it will significantly and practically contribute to the steps necessary to improve public space. Then you figure out that all of this is exclusively for US public spaces, very specific to the state of urban space over there.

Only step 28 “Tear down the highway, Replace downtown highway with walkable boulevards” is something that might work everywhere. World experience is what is needed.

We have that space in our collection Patricia's Green, Hayes Valley in San Francisco, mentioned in step 28 of the book, where highway was taken down.
