Psychogeography Portrait.. 60. Guide to the Hidden World
  Hidden World

In order to see hidden world surrounding us everyday, specially in the urban environment, special artistic [ > psycho < geographical > ] glasses are needed, accompanied with the cup of black tea.

This selection of images are taken in 2025 and 2026, inspired by the book ".The 99% Invisible City, A Field Guide to the Hidden World of Everyday Design", by Roman Mars and Kurt Kohlstedt.

  Hidden World

All around you, if you look closely enough, is a hidden world, but the cacophony of visual noise in our cities can make it hard to notice key details.

Is celebration [NO YETS T.O.] way to bring human rights to life?

Participation is first step, you have to be involved.

................. . . . . . . . . .
Welcome to our hidden World. Lets start from what is under us? Image above is under my keyboard, and the dark blue marble is collected at the exhibition of the Art Project H3O2 Vol. 3 - Aquatectorium: habitats of the future, inspired by the water, held in one very specific urban space in Beograd, Srbija.

When there is a Caribbean Festival [BTW largest in the world] around us we are all becoming a part of the Caribbean.

Once you notice something, try to remember it, or write it down.

Two photos above are found in the very close proximity. One outdoor, unknown plant and the other one new renovated space called Berczy Square, in downtown Toronto.

What are you looking at, little bird? Intermezzo at Blue Moon?

  Hidden World

After the contribution of our two granddaughters to this art panel, two flowers each, my contribution was their names, Lumen and Eska. Even more interesting is what we found out on the other panel in the Distillery District in Toronto. In Serbia, country of our origin, huge protest of students against corrupt autocratic regime is going on. Someone added "Studenti Pobedjuju", meaning Students are Winning, what do you think?

Plants have their own world, but they are surrounding us and communicating with us and with each other; just pay attention.

  Hidden World

Look around you when in the urban parks; a lot of things are happening. Of course, it is up to you personally to see what you want: a human figure, mandala or comfortable seat.

  Hidden World

Most of the images do not need any descriptions; just enjoy.

Sound is quite important, but curiosity too.

That guy in the distance is making those kites dance, believe us.

Round figures, we can handle them even if they are very large.

We can arrange the plants in our front yard as we please, but elsewhere we can enhance the look with background artwork

Ok, SMILE, you’re on camera, click, perfect!

Even obscure notations created and used by specialists contain layers of information written onto the built world that can be read by anyone who knows how to decipher them.

Unusual sights are everywhere; just make an effort to notice them.

Department store downstairs in Chinatown. Various flags, maybe related to the FIFA World Cup, football games in this city.

Arts in the parks, no other words needed.

Look over there or down; we are closed. Pull, please call again.

Bird is above; fish is below.

Choose HOPE for PEACE all over the world; war is making all of us miserable.

Wintertime is also full of sights; you'll never understand how you hadn't
noticed them before.

Slow, danger infront of you!
